Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today I'm taking a look at the Saris Bones EX 3. Now this is also available in a two bike version, today is our three. And we're gonna be doing this on a 2014 Honda CRV. Now as you can tell, this is a trunk-mounted style. And what that means is you're not using a hitch to attach it, it simply hangs onto the vehicle and uses leverage and the weight itself to hold it in place. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV, we're doing a test fit of the Yakima HalfBack Trunk Mount 2 Bike Rack. That part number is Y02636. We already have our bike secured down. We've got two cradles in place, with three straps, two on our frame here, one as our anti-sway in the back. These are also known as Yakima as zip strips. We're just going through and removing these. Then we'll pull our bike off, and set it off to the side. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV we're doing a test fit of the Yakima FullBack trunk mount 2-bike rack. That part number is Y02634. Now we already have our bike secured down. We've got two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame and one as our anti-sway in the back. These are also known by Yakima as Zip Strips. With those out of the way, we'll take our bike off and set it off to the side. more

Saris Bones Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2015 Honda CR-V

Today on this 2015 Honda CRV, we're going to do a test fit of the Saris Bones 3 bicycle rack, Part Number SA801. All right, we have our bicycle already loaded up on the bike rack. We'll go ahead and cover the points of contact. On the top tube of our bike, we've got the straps that are ratchet straps that go around the top tube, one to the left and one to the right. Also on our seat tube down here on the bottom, we have an anti-sway strap as well. This will hold your bike in place and keep it from moving around. Let's go ahead and take off the bike, and we'll go ahead and see the rest of the parts on our bicycle rack. To remove our bike, we'll push down on this tab on top and remove the strap, pick it up and work it off. more
